I love these trees.  Last time I was here it was freezing!

Training day 27 - Gorran Haven - Lambsowden Cove - 6.5 miles -ages

Another glorious day and ideal walking conditions - sunny with a cool breeze.  I had a new toy to play with today having heard some scare stories about cameras freezing I splashed out on an all weather Olympus toughie and was getting to grips with it, so went even slower than normal (not used that excuse before!).  As it does video as well I videod the nutters paragliding or whatever it is called over my head at Vault Beach nr Gorran Haven -see below.  I strolled on to Lambsowden Cove for a spot of lunch passing the campers on Hemmick Beach and the yacht anchored off-shore...sigh.  As I neared the end of my return leg I got chatting to a lovely chap called Peter, a local, who's wife also ended up in Mt Edgcumbe - small world. Towing a collie, aged 10.  He's just off to Namibia, or was it Uganda ?,  on an annual project to help the locals with agricultural developments, which he sort of fell into by accident and has found most rewarding.  All the kiddies treat him as some sort of white 'God' which he finds embarassing, yet endearing!  He also cycled to Nepal in his youth - imagine that!! Lovely chap

Anyway - only 9 weeks to go now.....

I made it on to Lambsowden for lunch...
