No training walk today as helping out with the last of 6 street tin collections. This was in Truro and the sun shone but, most importantly for our balloons, the wind did not blow! Nice to go out on a high with our best collection total of £195, giving us a grand total, incl. our Asda Bodmin collection, of £1076.86 - not to be sniffed at. Thank you so much to all my helpers over the months that gave up their Saturdays to stand in all weathers in Truro and St Austell It was hard work but also a rewarding experience as the public have been so generous in these cash-strapped times. Now for the Pamper Event on 25 September.....
