Inaugral meeting

I welcomed  my core Fundraising committee to our inaugral meeting today.  Welcome - Liz, Tracey, Becs, Leanne, Fran, Linzi, Vicky and Bec (apologies from Helen - who has been volunteered for an event in her absence so let that be a warning!)  I think they were a bit shocked by my OCD organisational fixations (well those that don't work with me anyway..agendas, action plans?!  Heaven help us.  I tried (unsccessfully) to allocate a number of key roles but succeeded in getting volunteers to take on a number of exciting events - still struggling to organise ferret racing and worm charming - but give me time...It is clear that there is a tremendous appetite to hit and exceed the target of £3395 so I'm excited and reassured.  1st event is a cake sale at HMRC - usually a winner and you've already raised over £500 in less than a week.  Tremendous effort and thank you everyone.  Alan
