Training Day 30 - Port quin - Port Isaac return - 3 hrs / 6 miles

A gorgeous early autumnal day saw me dropping the two smallest ankle-snappers off with my sister Linda in a nearby rented farmhouse and strike out for Port Isaac.  Slightly muddy - but just look at those views, and it was still t-shirt weather.  Where else would you want to be?  Gratifyingly I covered the ground fairly easily, whereas a few months ago on this same trail I huffed and puffed so I must be getting a bit fitter?.... 5 weeks to go gulp!  Often the best part of these walks is chatting to other walkers and today was no exception as I met Kathy going the other way, down for the weekend, and equally enthusiastic about the walk, weather and life in general today. Hi Kathy ! An unusual end to the day was driving 5 minutes down the road to find a roast dinner waiting on the table with the children fed and ready for bed.  Lovely.  Thanks Linda and Hillary.
